There is a new start-up procedure which eliminates the root login: From IOTA16 type longdel (this starts an ssh session for observer on the ldelay linux box) enter password - posted at site and in OT notes folder type server You also have the options of typing server -v to get the more verbose standard output or typing server -q for no output. At some point we may run this from the linux box console and thus eliminate the need for logging in each type you log in to the control computer. Note: We will continue to work with the system. Chip is working on a driver which will work the first time and not require you to try many times to get the modules to load. I'm hoping Pete can put a little more information in the status which is displayed on the delay line page so the user knows what is going on.
