SHUT DOWN THE PUMP

Make sure that :
The valve of the dewar is
closed.
Front switch : RESET, VENT.
DEWAR is disconnected from
the pump. Close the pump tube.
Front switch : RESET.

Set the following controls to the initial position indicated below :

OFF |
| PUMPING MODE SERVICE |
VENT |

Remove cold trap by pouring any residual liquid nitrogen.

Make sure that the pump tube is closed.

Turn the PUMPING MODE switch to the SERVICE PUMP position and wait until
the TESTPORT PRESSURE meter shows 5 to 10 mTorr.

Set the Rough circuit breaker to off.

Wait 20 minutes and then turn off the FORE PUMP circuit breaker.

Unplug the pump.
