Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics Telescope Data Archives for CfA Instruments

The Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory Telescope Data Center maintains archives of data from SAO and HCO telescopes.

• Low-dispersion spectrographs are used primarily for extra-galactic sources.
• Echelle spectrographs are used for star spectra and radial velocities.

• Only one Echelle program is currently public, 103 Transit Candidates.

• There is locally-written software to access the Z-Machine, MMT Spectrograph, and Echelle archives in their native formats.

• Raw data is currently archived but not publicly available.

• The Harvard Plate Stacks, covering the entire sky from the 1880's to the 1990's, are being catalogued and scanned. Positions of 80,000 plates from three plate series are searchable online, but only 100 or so plates have been scanned so far.
